Relay vs MultiTwitch
MultiTwitch has been the answer to “can I watch two streams at once” for over a decade. It is free, it is instant, and there is nothing to sign up for. Here is where Relay works differently, and where MultiTwitch is still the right call.
What MultiTwitch gets right
It is about as fast as a tool can be. Put the channel names in the URL, press enter, and you are watching. No account, no settings, nothing to learn. The layout sizes itself to fit whatever you throw at it. If that is the whole job, you do not need Relay.

Use MultiTwitch when
- You want two streams up in ten seconds and will close the tab afterwards
- You do not want an account involved under any circumstances
- You are on a shared or borrowed machine
Use Relay when
- You watch the same group of streamers often and are tired of retyping them
- You want to actually hear one stream without muting the other five
- You want to know which tile stalled instead of reloading everything
- You want more than a handful of streams arranged deliberately
