Relay Streamer Program Terms

1. Eligibility

You must be the verified owner of the Twitch channel listed in your application. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). Your Twitch channel must be in good standing and able to receive Bits and Gifted Subs.

2. Promo codes

Approved affiliates receive a unique promo code (3-20 characters, uppercase alphanumeric). Codes typically match your channel handle. Relay reserves the right to reject or rename codes that conflict with trademarks, are offensive, or duplicate existing codes. Codes give your referrals a 20% discount on Relay Pro and attribute the signup to you indefinitely.

3. Community rewards

Approved affiliates earn community rewards equal to 30% of the net subscription revenue from each customer who signs up using their code, recalculated every month for as long as that customer remains an active paying subscriber. Rewards are not paid in cash. They are delivered to your Twitch channel as Bits and Gifted Subs through Twitch’s official platform. The reward calculation applies to recurring monthly billing only and excludes taxes, payment processing fees, and refunded or charged-back amounts.

4. Reward delivery

Reward deliveries are processed manually by the Relay team on a monthly basis through Twitch’s official Bits and Gifted Subs features, sent to the Twitch channel listed in your application. Deliveries occur within the first 14 business days of each calendar month for the prior month’s earned rewards. Bit-to-dollar and Gifted-Sub-to-dollar conversions follow Twitch’s prevailing public rates at the time of processing. Relay does not send cash, checks, ACH, PayPal, or Stripe payouts under this program.

5. Refunds and chargebacks

If a referred customer is refunded, charges back, or disputes a payment, the corresponding reward amount is removed from that month’s calculation. Already-delivered Bits or Gifted Subs cannot be reclaimed; instead, future months’ reward calculations are reduced to offset the difference.

6. Self-referrals and prohibited conduct

You may not use your own promo code on your own subscriptions. You may not engage in spam, paid traffic with misleading claims, trademark bidding (e.g., bidding on "Relay" or "Socialocca" in search ads), incentivized clicks, fake accounts, or any fraudulent activity. Violations result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid balances.

7. Code revocation and termination

Relay may revoke a promo code or terminate an affiliate account at any time for violations of these terms, prolonged inactivity (12+ months with zero referrals), or conduct that brings disrepute to the platform. Earned, undelivered rewards for compliant referrals will be delivered through the next regular monthly cycle.

8. Program changes

Relay may modify commission rates, payout thresholds, code rules, or any other program terms with at least 30 days' notice via email to your registered address. Continued participation after the notice period constitutes acceptance.

9. Confidentiality and intellectual property

You may use the Relay name and logo in good-faith promotion of your affiliate code. You may not imply employment, partnership, or sponsorship beyond the affiliate relationship. All Relay marks remain the property of Socialocca LLC.

10. Tax responsibility

Because rewards are delivered as Bits and Gifted Subs through Twitch and not as cash payments, Relay does not issue 1099 forms or tax documentation for this program. You are responsible for any tax treatment of in-platform Twitch rewards under your local jurisdiction.

11. Liability and indemnification

Relay and Socialocca LLC are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the program. You agree to indemnify Relay against any claims arising from your promotional activities.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Socialocca LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Independent program disclaimer

Relay’s Streamer Program is an independent community rewards initiative operated by Socialocca LLC. Relay is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Twitch Interactive, Inc. Twitch, Bits, and Gifted Subs are trademarks or service marks of Twitch Interactive, Inc., and their use of those features is governed by Twitch’s own Terms of Service.
